Resources

Here you can find some additional resources, such as generic school and athletic calendars, my email address, and links to other sites that could help you.

 Open Office
You can always download the Open Office productivity suite if you folks do not have Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).  It's free, user friendly, and you can even save your files in Microsoft Office formats (.doc, .ppt, etc.).  Check it out if you could use the program.

OWL Writing Lab
This is an awesome resource if you need help with writing MLA format (English class, like for our Historical Fiction Paper) or APA format (Psychology/Psychology Honors).  Remember, even the website says that sometimes you must really search a source for its information.  This is much more useful than having a program (even Microsoft Word) automatically generate your citations, Works Cited, or References.  Make sure the information that the website provides is consistent with what your paper/project requires and, of course, always talk to you teacher if you find any discrepancy.

The website also offers generic writing tips, such as avoiding plagiarism and resume writing.
